Once again, our front-line workforce has stepped up during a significant wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our Metrolinx Bus Marshallers continue to work around the clock and step up whenever called upon. Our Baggage Handlers have been working tirelessly since October adjusting to unique schedules every week, including many last-minute adjustments. Our Security Escorts continue to demonstrate that they can adapt to the changing environment at Pearson International Airport to help ensure the continued success of AAI. In December 2021, AAI saw an increase of 45% increase in hours from the same period in 2020. January 2021, AAI saw a 70% increase in hours from the same period in 2021.
