After a historic and unprecedented global shutdown of the aviation industry due to the impact of Covid-19, the airlines and airports across Canada are slowly and cautiously rebuilding their businesses.
AAI Corp. was more fortunate than many companies impacted by the pandemic, as we maintained a steady demand for our services at YYZ, YYC and Metrolinx which enabled us to retain many of our AAI employees and contractors.
CASS was not as fortunate and was directly and negatively impacted because of Covid-19.
CASS operations have been suspended for over a year at this point, and many reliable and valued employees have been patiently waiting to return to work. As the industry restarts, CASS is well positioned to compete for new opportunities. The process of contacting and processing our returning CASS employees has begun, ground support equipment is being serviced and we are actively recruiting new employees to expand our employee roster at Pearson airport.
A sincere welcome back to all our returning CASS employees, we thank you for your dedication and appreciate all of you.
We look forward to getting back to working together and continuing to develop the CASS brand. As more customers return to the aviation and bus transportation sectors, it is extremely important for AAI and CASS to continue to be agile and responsive to support our clients.
As travel restrictions continue to ease and passenger loads continue to increase, we need to work closely with our clients to adapt to changes in operations and ensure any new requirements are implemented and supported effectively.
As mentioned above ‘The Future looks Bright’, we are excited to continue the AAI and CASS journey together and to continue to support our clients and their customers by “Leading by Example’. Stay safe.
