It’s been 23 months since our last employee appreciation barbeque and with the lifting of the COVID restrictions in Alberta the YYC team sprang into action to celebrate with all our staff.
Typical of Alberta, the weather gets as confusing as 12 squirrels running around in your head. The day started off with heavy clouds and thunderstorms with early afternoon sweltering heat then toques in the evening! But as Albertans do, we prevailed! The actions of our team and employees who showed up unannounced to set up and move the BBQ indoors was nothing short of amazing!
The team decided that the theme for the BBQ should celebrate our diversity within our communities as well as our workplace by hanging up flags of every country in the world. A truly amazing site to see in the offices.
With a resounding turnout throughout the day where everyone was welcome, employees brought along their families, they’re in laws and grandchildren and all enjoyed endless burgers and hot dogs along with cold drinks and snacks.
